Ideal Holiday Destination: Anywhere - I need a vacation
Best GAA moment: This was actually against the Dames when I lived in D.C. but winning the Junior A championship in Boston in 2008 by 1 point. Scored 3 goals that game to come back from behind.
Ambition for 2020 season: To be fit enough (and find enough babysitters) to be able to play
Pre-match rituals: Taking Imodium 😱 and eating a mini snickers with Ciara
Odd items in your football bag: Probably smashed/melted mini snickers from the previous season. Also always lots of sunscreen.
Best player you have played with: Hannah Tyrrell
Best player you have played against: Pretty much anyone from the Charlotte senior team
Best trainer in the squad: There are a few that come to mind: Ashley Myles, Mo and Taylor work hard and never complain. And Ciara Trainor always pushes people for more fitness.
Worst training drill: Stupid hand pass in a square drill. It’s the WORST!
Your best ever performance: I think played pretty well in the two semifinal games at the Philly finals in 2018.
One to forget: The final in Philly in 2018 - what a heartbreaker! Although I still think we won by a point because the umpires missed a goal by Kathy that bounced off of the inside back post.
Where do you like to go out and celebrate after a big win: Anywhere but love dancing with the team at Woody’s.
Who’s the biggest joker in the team: Claire Harte
Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room: Definitely Maggie 🤣
Who’s the best/worst person to share a room with on away trips: I’m basically the mom of the group so it probably sucks to get paired with me.
Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus: Asia and Danielle are the best people to help get through the grueling 5 hour drive to Pittsburgh.
Best piece of advice you were ever given: There is very little an individual can control so it is best to focus on the things you can always control - your attitude and work ethic.
The best part about being a member of your club: The camaraderie. I love the girls and have lifelong friends because of the Dames. They helped me find my place in Philadelphia.
